1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Kari ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is operated by Kari App ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Kari is a relationship and couple wellness application that provides AI-generated personality reports based on selfie analysis, couple compatibility assessments, and daily personalized relationship challenges. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate insights and recommendations for informational and entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Partner Invitation and Consent

When you invite a partner to join your couple on the App, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to participate. Both partners must independently agree to these Terms. You may not create profiles or submit selfies on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The personality reports, compatibility assessments, and daily challenges provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence based on research in facial analysis and personality psychology. These reports are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional psychological, medical, therapeutic, or relationship counseling advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should not rely solely on the App for making important relationship decisions. For serious relationship issues, we recommend consulting a licensed therapist or counselor.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Free Features

The App offers limited free features including an individual personality report and one day of couple challenges.

7.2 Premium Subscription

Access to daily personalized challenges beyond Day 1 requires a premium subscription. Subscription options and pricing are displayed within the App and may include weekly, monthly, and annual plans.

7.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

7.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

7.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.

7.6 Free Trials

If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

8. User Content

8.1 Selfie Photos

By submitting selfie photos through the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze these images for the purpose of generating your personality report. We do not use your selfie photos for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the App's core services.

8.2 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App, including selfie photos.

8.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that is offensive, harmful, fraudulent, or violates any applicable law. You must only submit photos of yourself and not of third parties without their consent.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

• Impersonate another person or submit another person's photo without consent

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks

• Use automated means to access the App

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App

• Use the App's AI-generated content to harm, harass, or manipulate others

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are the exclusive property of Kari App and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kari App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kari App, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
